Good advice starts with understanding the problem.

Every organisation reaches a point where an independent perspective can make a difference.

It might be identifying a new opportunity, working through a difficult issue, strengthening an important relationship or bringing clarity to a decision that isn’t straightforward.

Blue Hibiscus works directly with owners, CEOs and leadership teams to provide practical and bespoke advice based on Marty’s depth of experience and extensive contact network.

But the starting point is always the same – understand the situation, understand the people involved and work out the best way forward.

About Marty

EXPERIENCE, RELATIONSHIPS AND GETTING THINGS DONE

Marty Rowen has spent more than 40 years working inside organisations, solving problems, building relationships and creating new opportunities.

Over that time, Marty has honed his own methodology: meeting people face-to-face, listening and asking questions before offering an opinion, following through on commitments and building relationships that last beyond the immediate piece of business.

It’s an approach that has helped Marty build an extensive network across business, government, industry and the community, underpinned by long-standing relationships and an understanding of when an introduction, a new perspective or a timely conversation might help.

Marty brings that same approach to Blue Hibiscus, working directly with business owners and senior decision-makers on opportunities and problems that don’t always fit neatly within one basket.

His role can change depending on what’s needed — adviser, sounding board, problem-solver or an experienced pair of eyes on an issue.

He holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from CQUniversity and remains actively involved in Queensland's business and community sectors through board and advisory roles.
